Serving the community for 95 years, West Suburban Medical Center is a full-service health-care facility located in Oak Park. The hospital — with 325 physicians on staff in 28 specialties — provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages. Most of our patient rooms are private.

With the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities, West Suburban is recognized as a leader in:

From early diagnosis through treatment, our highly skilled and compassionate doctors, nurses and hospital team members are focused on delivering outstanding care to families.

Our main Oak Park campus includes the hospital, a patient care pavilion, a professional office building and the West Suburban College of Nursing. The Center for Cancer Care is located in the Res-Health Care Plex at 7411 West Lake Street in River Forest.

In winter 2009, West Suburban will open its new $24 million Emergency Department (ED), now under construction. The state-of-the-art ED will double in size — expanding to 20,000 square feet. It will be staffed by board-certified physicians, registered nurses and support staff all specially trained in emergency care. Patients will benefit from enhanced privacy, larger treatment rooms, the latest imaging equipment and on-site laboratory capabilities.

As Oak Park's largest employer, West Suburban is committed to promoting good health in our communities and providing families with the very best care.
